Summer Training

Please view our calendar. There is stuff going on Sunday through Friday in May.

Sundays: Open Mats at Bishop Ready High School 6pm-7:30pm. This will begin on April 15th and will run up until wrestling season starts.

Mondays: Hilliard Davidson High School Weekly Clinics. 6pm-7:30pm. April 2 – May 21. The cost is $30 for all 8 sessions.

Wednesdays: Open Mats at Upper Arlington High School. 6:30pm – 8pm. Starts April 2nd and will run every Wednesday through April and May.

Tuesdays & Thursdays: Lifting at Central Crossing. 6pm – 7:30ish. Starts May 1st and will run up through wrestling season.

State Results

Congratulations to Dez Hauber who got in as a qualifier, Josh Wimer who placed 5th, & Vince Pickett who competed in the finals and took 2nd. Please come back soon to see pictures and video of our wrestlers in action.

Sectional Results

Congratulations to Josh Wimer at 106 lbs, Dez Hauber at 145 lbs, & Vince Pickett at 170 lbs for taking 1st Saturday at sectionals. They will be competing Friday at Hilliard Darby for the district tournament.

Also congratulations to Joey Householder at 120 lbs & Gavin McKenney at 113 lbs for taking 5th. They are alternates for the districts tournament.

Finally congratulations to Kyle Farris for taking 6th.

Elmwood Results

The Central Crossing Wrestling team went 3-2 this past weekend at the Elmwood Duals. Central Crossing defeated Fremont Ross, Bowling Green, and St. Marys. Our two losses came from Clyde and Elmwood. Congratulations to Josh Wimer, Dez Hauber, and Vince Pickett for going a perfect 5-0 on the day. Joe Housholder finished up the day 4-1. You can click on the link above to get full results and lineups for the day. The Comets next competition is this Thursday February 2 at home vs Westland. This is also Senior night, so come on out and support the team and root the seniors on one last time in their home gym.
